At 19 Leamy made the Junior Kiwis to tour Great Britain & France, & signed a contract to play with Manly Sea Eagles in Rugby League

After Watching Leamy train, Rex Redden spotted the potential in him and so started Leamys Muay Thai Career. After only 3 fights Leamy was asked to fight in the New Zealand K1 and hasnt looked back since.

In 08 Leamy won the NZ Heavyweight MMA Title after beating Sam 'Striker' Brown and also won the UMAF 4 Man Tournament in Christchurch NZ Defeating Mat Toa and Hiriwa Tirangi! Leamy is going from strength to strength and is becoming renowned for his hit em hard and hit em often streetfighting style of fighting!! watch out for a HUGE year for the T Man in 09!!!
